The problem with using Amazon S3 is that whilst the cost of storage is low, they do charge you extra every time you want to access your files. For people who are delivering digital products, this could see you spend thousands every single month, and that can really eat into your profits.
Luckily, there is a new option that can save you an absolute fortune. It's called Wasabi and it costs a fraction of what Amazon charges you. The reason for this is that they don't charge for egress (downloading) your files. Despite this, there are some instances where a bandwidth fee is appropriate when using Wasabi. The good news here, though, is that even with that fee, you'll end up paying less than you would on Amazon.
